Project overview

The Melton Southern Sustainable Neighbourhood is a major strategic development designed to support the long-term growth of Melton Mowbray. The project combines the delivery of approximately 1,500 new homes with significant transport infrastructure improvements, helping to address longstanding traffic congestion challenges while enabling sustainable future development.

The chellenge

For many years, traffic congestion in Melton Mowbray limited growth opportunities and created challenges for future development. A long-term transport strategy was needed to unlock development potential, improve connectivity, and support the town’s expansion.

Working alongside Davidsons Developments since 2012, we played a key role in developing the vision for the Southern Sustainable Neighbourhood and supporting the transport infrastructure required to bring the project forward.
