Working with Rayner Davies Architects, we have compiled a Transport Statement to support an outline application for 12 houses and a 64-bed care home on the site of the Eden Lodge Care Home in Bestwood village. The existing care home will be demolished to allow for the new state of the art care facility that […]
appeal averted at Market Warsop
Following early feasibility studies and advice on access, in June 2016 Harworth Group submitted an outline planning application for 400 houses on Land to the South of Stonebridge Lane in Warsop. Our Transport Assessment derived a package of highway works to mitigate traffic impacts along the congested A60 corridor in to Mansfield. A year later […]
Bilsthorpe – approved
Newark and Sherwood District Council have resolved to grant consent for Harworth’s planning application for 85 dwellings and a retail store of 300sqm on a site at Eakring Road in Bilsthorpe. Our Transport Assessment proposed a mini-roundabout access, but unable to accept that, the County Council agreed a simple T-junction would be sufficient.
Chartwell Drive, Wigston – approved
Building on the car park of The Chartwell Arms, a trade counter development has gained consent from Oady and Wigston Borough Council. Our key issue was addressing the car parking, and proving that sufficient space was available on and off site to accommodate the demands.

A small scheme of 18 dwellings has been approved by Melton Borough Council. It was the latest phase of work for us on development either side of Green Lane in Easthorpe, next to Bottesford. application submitted – All Saints Open
A planning application has been submitted to Leicester City Council for a seven storey private apartment building. Our key task was justifying the 21 parking spaces in the lower ground level to cater for the 73 apartments. We love the CGI from MAA Architects below – very realistic.
approved – Sandfield Centre, Nottingham
A scheme of 95 houses on a brownfield site, the former Sandfield Centre, was approved by Nottingham City Council’s planning committee on 20 December. In a highly sustainable location and with a substantial previous use, proving minimal impact was straightforward. The devil was in the detail of the layout.

Our work consisted of the Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, and design of a new access junction on the A444 Burton Road. Pegasus Group provided the masterplan and planning consultancy.
